Says Montessori education is based on a triangle:

  • Environment
  • Love
  • Child-Environment

  • Love is respecting, freedom with responsibility, boundaries and structure. Courage, faith, trust, patience. Know your needs. Empathy.

Love: ability to give children the opportunity to awaken their spirit and then provide the means corresponding to this awakening. It is a teaching method is the discovery of man. Discovered that the child who can be the man with his best or worst features. "The child needs to be recognized, respected and helped. The child is father of man. "discovered qualities that elevate a man on the child, as a character, moral strength and force of personality, present from early childhood but must be developed. It must respect the child's right to protest and say: this involves the skills of observation, analysis and synthesis. We need to give them the means to develop them.

  • El Montessori method of education that it obtained from its experience, has been successfully applied to all children and is very popular in many parts of the world. Regardless of the criticism of his method in the early 1930s-1940s, has been applied and obtained a revival.

In 1907 he established the first Montessori Children's House, 'Casa dei Bambini', in Rome. Since 1913, there was intense interest in her method in North America, interest later waned. (Nancy McCormick Rambusch revived the method in America, setting the American Montessori Society (American Montessori Society) in 1960.) Montessori was exiled by Mussolini to India during the Second World War, largely because he refused to compromise his principles and turning children into young soldiers. Montessori lived out the rest of his life in the Netherlands, a country which is the headquarters of the AMI, or Association Montessori Internationale. Died in Noordwijk aan Zee. Her son Mario headed the A.M.I. until his death in 1982
